Sony PS3 Adds Ads

We’ve all grown accustomed to seeing ads in movies. Today, though, The Wall Street Journal reported that video games will follow Hollywood’s lead and place advertisements in their products. Sony, the newspaper said, will put the ads in its PS3 games. Ads could range “from a bottle of soda consumed by a virtual character to billboards inside a sports stadium.”

Apparently, we don't pay enough for the privelege of watching/playing the crap that comes out of the entertainment industry. We could (fat chance) just 'tell' the industry that we've had enough and stop buying their wares. I stopped going to the movies almost 20 years ago. I haven't missed it. Video games are just an excuse not to do something useful with one's life.
