Agreed.  Very nice tool to introduce STEM at a young age.  The robotics portion of this kit should give the kids very good visual feedback on the quality of their code and keep their interest and engagement at a high level.

Very right Cabe. Nowadays the kids have so many resources to learn from. It would be quite disappointing if they are not able to achieve something exceptional in the future.

If the next generation are not tech masters, I will be knocked out. 

So much is being pumped into STEM, there are so many "teach kids programming" options that they should not be able to avoid it. 

Wish I had all this as a kid.

There are a lot of new solutions out there to promote kids' interest in STEM fields and also allow them to program robots and other devices. I've written abou a few. Hummingbird seems another one that can go on this list and will help not only kids but novice programmers take advantage of new tech.
