It's been almost seven years since this blog was written, and October Sky remains my favorite engineering/technology movie.

OK Charles, I have to give my bump.  I always liked "Apollo 13".  My favorite quote was "work the problem", because so much of Engineering is working problem with the available resources.
 
Did you ever notice that "October Sky" is an anagram for Rocket Boys?
