Everything I've heard from you guys back East says this was a totally awful winter. We just got some rain here--and cooler weather with it--but it only makes a slight dent in what we need. Most of the surrounding water districts are now on Stage 2 mandatory cutbacks, although how that will be enforced remains to be seen in this mostly rural county. But it's real spring--everything's turning green. I'll be finishing spring cleaning soon.

Ann, you're funny...fall cleaning! I started, got most of it done, but here...winter keeps coming back. I think it's finally over now though. I thought it would never end. I almost think, despite snow, that this was the worst winter EVER for me...temp wise.

Cadman-LT, we're still on drought watch and running out of time.

Ann, well it could be worse. It is a swamp here from all of the thawing. We have one more day as well...today....that will be 7 degrees. So no water tonight....lol After tonight though everything should be ok....Bye Bye Mr. Winter! and good riddance!

Cadman-LT glad you got a breather. We finally got a little bit of rain and then some more. But still nowhere near enough.

Ann, it just got worse after that. Snowed a bunch. It's finally thawing and everything will be flooded. Least it's warm though, for a few days anyways. I'll take it!

Cadman-LT, sorry to hear about the bad weather out. Here in California we're going through a major drought. We'd gladly take some of that excess precipitation.
