Boeing is now implementing design modifications to the Dreamliner 787 to correct problems reported last June. Randy Tinseth, vice president, marketing for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, says in a new blog post: “We’ve begun installing the reinforcements on the area within the side-of-body section on Airplane #1 and on the static airframe. Tinseth did not provide specifics on the nature of the fix.
