Rob,  Security is definitely a critical, but solvable, problem.  This past week, there were massive attacks on websites using WordPress (popularized as a authoring/database solution for blogs). It's not an option to ignore security issues.

Now that plants are connected to EMS systems and supply chain partners, security has become a major issue. Gone are the days when the plant operated as an island. Talking to cyber security companies can make you dizzy with scenarios of attack both direct (from an enemy) or indirect (worms just floating around).
