You're right Jim.  I was in college and started at UW in 65.  Got the car in 67 and graduated in 68.  It's getting harder to clearly remember back that far.

Okay, I'll be the first Pontiac loving nit-picker to note that the Firebird (and Camaro) was introduced in 1967.  :)

I'm sure your son would like the unlocked OS, since Android is based on a Linux kernal anyway!

Can I get a desktop cradle for it?  This has more than my work computer.

It's truely amazing what they're able to pack into such a small space.  Almost as exciting as having the first look under the hood of my old 1965 Firebird 400.  Had to hop in and give it a spin.  As with any new gadget the proof is in the pudding.  Anxious to see the fun and benefits all the guts provide.

As usual, your teardown is amazing!

This is the first phone I've truly coveted.  Seeing how much is inside of this device makes me want it more.

You wouldn't happen to have an extra invitation you could pass on, would you?

The invitation only strategy creates consumer desire.  Brilliant!

I'm surpised to see the 152-mm (about 6 inches) height. That's seems tall for a smartphone. It almost seems like a small tablet.

Miroslave, that's a lot of slides!  This is a lot packed into a phone that is very reasonably priced.  My older son, who is a Linux guru, would love the OS (since it is open).  That is the point of Android, isn't it?
