@Rob: Yes but being on the defensive mode will not be a good move at all especially in the long run.

That's probably correct, Nancy. This stoy made it clear to me why some companies have decided not to leave the shore.

Good point, Nancy. I'm sure wives and husbands use this spying technique all the time. Kidding aside (I think), you're right about the lack of protections.

It seeems they must have an unexpected level of naivete, Rob - anyone in manufacturing for any length of time would have realized such pitfalls were strong possibilities. Seems like they need to get some folks experienced in offshore manufacturing on board.

Thanks, Rob. One worry i always have with portable devices is that if someone else gets a hold of it - will they be able to access accounts that i wouldn't want them to? I have actually been rather shocked at some practices (or lack thereof) of some big players that could easily endanger security by allowing access too easily...

I don't know what they were expecting, Nancy. These are common problems. In this particular case, a crew was trained in manufacturing the robots. Then the crew left for better jobs and they were replaced by workers who were not properly trained. They didn't expect that.

I think it's both Nancy. At least I talked about both on the show floor. Not sure what exactly Dominic meant. Most people talked in terms of user interface, but I did hear mentions many times of data protection.
