Shock and vibration are enemies to sensitive electronics found in CD-ROM and computer hard drives, flat panel displays, medical equipment, small pumps and motors, or aircraft avionics components. However, providing cost-effective multi-axis shock and vibration isolation in applications where sway and package space are at a premium can be tricky.
One solution: miniature wire rope isolators. Good for static load capacities from 45g to 34 kg across a wide temperature range (-100C to 260C), these all-metal units require no maintenance and are unaffected by chemicals, oils, ozone, and abrasives.
