E dmund Industrial Optics (EO) has been meeting the industrial optic needs of the engineering community for over 58 years. This has not been an easy task, as the technologies that our customers use change very rapidly. As a result, we have constantly grown and adapted to suit these changes in the industries and markets we serve. Daily developments in the design and application of industrial optics occur, both at EO and worldwide. EO is quick to recognize the role of education in keeping abreast of these innovations.
The design and manufacture of new optical products is impossible without the hard work of qualified engineers. For any industrial optics company to remain competitive, it must insure that its engineers not only have the best tools, but also are continuously educated in the use of these tools. This guarantees quality products and services to the customer. EO's attention to engineering education surpasses these focuses. Affiliations with the University of Rochester and the University of Arizona allow EO to assist in developments and research in the university's optical engineering programs.
