Linear guides that depend on metal-to-metal contact require frequent lubrication to maintain smooth, quiet operation. Thermoplastic sliding elements run smoothly and quietly without lubrication, even in moist environments.

Adjustable clearance lets engineers use the guide in either fixed or floating carriage applications. Currently available in 20-, 25-, and 30-mm sizes, a 15-mm size will be available in the near future.
