Patent-pending design consists of an oil-saturated polymer that fits snugly over the rail, while a spring housing maintains constant rail contact. As the carriage moves, oil is continuously released between the balls and races, maintaining a constant film.
In addition to eliminating lubrication maintenance, the self-lubricating polymer provides a secondary sealing protection against contamination. The linear guides are also equipped with double-lip seals on each end of the carriage to keep lubrication in and contamination out, eliminating oil-related environmental pollution.
