MONORAIL AMS integrated linear measuring system combines guidance and measurement into one unit. The AMS is operated with the SME100 interpolation electronics unit and offers resolution of 1 (mu)m. Standard accuracy grade is 5 (mu)m per meter with typical repeatability of Ī1 mm. The AMS scan head glides on the magnetic scale, and the solid-state scanning element--housed inside a single piece of rugged titanium--generates two sinusoidal signals, phase-shifted by 90-degrees, and a separate reference signal. These signals are available either as 7-16 microamp current outputs or 1V p-p.
Last year at Hannover Fair, lots of people were talking about Industry 4.0. This is a concept that seems to have a different name in every region. Iíve been referring to it as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), not to be confused with the plain old Internet of Things (IoT). Others refer to it as the Connected Industry, the smart factory concept, M2M, data extraction, and so on.
