Installed in the torque tube, this seal prevents the rear-end lube from traveling up the torque tube and leaking out the bell. It has an aluminum housing, three "O" rings on the outside, and two, patented grease-resistant, high-temperature VITON seals on the inside.
Available in four sizes that fit most sprint cars and midget racers, the torque tube seal has also found application in hydroplanes and other machinery.
