The roof-shaped Hyton seal strengthens the hydraulic coupling against pressure fluctuations.
|
While most hydraulic couplings may withstand static loads, quite often it is the dynamic cases that prove problematic. A roof-shaped Hyton® o-ring seal in this Bosch Rexroth fitting secures and strengthens the connection against pressure fluctuations and peaks due to fast switching valves and mechanical vibrations.
The sealing works with standard 24° or 37° cone-section base bodies secured by union nuts. No additional sleeves, rings, etc. are needed to ensure connection integrity.
Company tests of 16-mm and 25-mm diameter sections withstood 5 million load cycles (1 Hz) with pressure pulses of 0 to 500 bar. Likewise, 38-mm diameter sections were tested to 3 million, 0- to 420-bar cycles at 1 Hz.
