SENSORS: Novotechnik introduced the TX2 series of position sensors with stroke lengths up to 300 mm. The new sensor is sealed to IP67 and has an 18 mm diameter housing size.
The TX2 series offers outstanding linearity to 0.05 percent with resolution better than 0.01 mm and is equipped with pivot heads to provide a large angle of free movement up to ±12.5 degrees.
TX2 series is available from stock with 8 stroke lengths from 25 to 300mm and an operating life of more than 50 million movements. The TX2 series is also designed to withstand adverse environment conditions such as humidity and dust as demonstrated by the IP rating.
