ELECTRONICS: Custom manufactured clad composite radiopaque wires for use with catheters, stents, implantable coils and related devices are being introduced by Anomet Products Inc.
Anomet Radiopaque Wires feature platinum and platinum-iridium, tantalum and tantalum-tungsten, and similar alloys in clad composite with high strength wires such as 316LVM stainless steel, nitinol and MP35N®. These clad compo-site wires are an effective alternative to solid wires with marker bands and greatly improve visibility under fluoroscopy, claims the firm.
The radiopaque alloys in Anomet Radiopaque Wires are metallurgically bonded to the core wires with 2 percent or more cladding thickness and offered in sizes from 0.002 to 0.060 inches O.D. Supplied on spools and manufactured to precise OEM specification, these clad composite wires have a smooth, consistent finish.
Anomet Radiopaque Wires are priced according to composition and quantity. Samples, literature, and price quotations are available upon request.
