Sil-Pro Announces New Clean Room and Molding Facilities Expansion - Enhances Value-Added Molding Capabilities for Medical Device Customers

MATERIALS: Sil-Pro continues its ongoing expansion with the latest addition of a 3,500 square-foot Class 10,000 Clean Room. This clean room facility will incorporate new molding operations to serve the growing requirements of the medical device industry.

As a further example of its expertise and growth, Sil-Pro engineers and process planners recently designed and built a high volume automated molding system for a customer requiring an output capacity of 2 million components a week. The components are for a disposable device used in insulin delivery systems.

Currently Sil-Pro has 115 employees. It has ISO 9001:2000 certifications providing liquid silicone molding, gum stock molding, and bonding silicone parts to plastics, metal and other silicone parts using medical grade adhesives. Its services include medical device assembly and packaging.
