ELECTRONICS:Sunnex, an international provider of medical lighting, has introduced new LED bed lights for hospitals called NightStarTM and LM LED. Their high light output along with low heat emissions improves energy savings while reducing liability risks. The risk of fire or burning accidents is eliminated with LED bed lights. There is no UV or IR radiation from LED lights. Energy savings are between 70 and 80 percent compared to halogen and even more compared to fluorescent and pays for itself in less than three years.
The Sunnex NightStarTM and LM LED bed lights have extended element life (more than 25,000 hours) and are available with a hospital graded plug-in transformer. They are available in two designs with multiple mounting options to meet most configurations of walls and beds from most manufactures. These LED bed lights are backed up with a three-year warranty included in the price.
