Materials and Fastening:Southco®’s EA-K1 keypad access controller provides simplified, affordable, keyless entry to any basic electronic lock for integrated access management. The EA-K1 eliminates the need for physical key management and provides higher security with user-friendly installation and programming.
A basic input for Southco® electromechanical lock products, the EA-K1 offers plug-and-play simplicity with a programmable keypad featuring both audible and LED feedback. The keypad enables up to seven unique passcodes between four and eight digits from 99 million possible combinations. It accommodates multiple access arrangements with a programmable lockout feature and access time between 1 and 99 sec. The lockout feature enables a user to set the number of failed attempts, and the length of time, before automatic lockout. The feature can also be wired to trigger a separate alarm or to record the event. The EA-K1 is available in custom colors or can be imprinted with any logo.
The self-contained unit, which runs conveniently on 12V dc power, is well-suited for secure storage cabinets, industrial enclosures, self-service kiosks and furniture.
