As an electrical contractor, one of my better clients was a large grocery store chain. In the meat department they had a seafood display case with a glass front that was accessed from the rear opening. The case was illuminated by fluorescent lights located above the shown product inside the case.
Everything was fine until the lights needed servicing. If one went bad, I had to schedule service work to be done on it at four in the morning when customer activity was the lowest. And to do so, the case had to be cleaned out and I had to lie on my back to do the work.
No work could be scheduled afterwards because a shower and a change of clothes were in order (The smell of seafood on your body is not fashionable).
And then after I did the repair work, the whole case had to be sanitized all over again. This leads to the fact that those that design it, never have to work on it.
A monkey might have had a better design
