Good stuff, Tracey. With the growing popularity and affordability of SoCs/FPGAs in embedded systems, it will be very exciting to see how advanced functionalities like machine vision and real-time vision processing creep into more and more products and applications.

Not only will the factory setting see a huge growth as you mentioned, but also the world of terrestrial and airborne robots - there are countless applications for this technology in the areas of collision avoidance, object recognition, visual navigation, data collection, and so many more.
