It's amazing how the slightest error in file conversion can result in hours or even days of frustration, especially when using 3D printers. Good write-up!

Thanks for such detailed info on .STL files and on what can go wrong in the conversion from CAD to .STL. Is this detailed type of information available anywhere else? Can you provide any links?
