This is the last round of Gadget Freak voting before the final round. We have some great gadgets here, so the picking won't be easy.

You're right.  It is getting harder.  But, I still say cute trumps cool.

It's neck and neck - I love it! The first two rounds had runaway winners, so the final round will be an exciting one!

Now the hand keyboard seems to be running off in the lead, Jenn. These contests are hard to predict.

I agree, Rob. This is the all-around best group of Gadgets I've seen so far. I have to go with the concept of the glove/keyboard, though. For future potential, it's tough to beat.

I agree that the keyboard is impressive, Chuck. Yet the telescope warmer is a brilliant solution to a tricky problem.

As a frequent user of computer, I liked the idea behind Gadget No.225 "Moving the Keyboard on to your Fingers". Its add more convenience to our day to day life, especially dealing with computers.

I really like the 10 key keyboard, I think it is pretty convinient and would be a great way to make things more compact in the future applications, It might take some time to get used to it though.

And also because the steering with keys on it looks very cool, having it interfaced with a smart phone might actually be a safer way to text while driving.

i agree if interfaced with smart phone will be really cool, and would have alot of application but still i dont think it is the solution to texting while driving.
the main threat while driving is not ONLY taking your eyes of the road, but it is also the lapse of concentration that is the main reason for accidents. So anything that may affect your concentration will driving should be avoided.

Texting while driving

I do not think that this or any other device should be used to text while driving. Only after you have had a lot of practice with it will it be easy to use, and it will still take your attention away from your driving.

Here, hear, Andy. Our roads are dangerous enough already. No texting until you're in a self-driving car.

Yes, I wasn't too keen on that idea. People should not be given encouragement to text and drive. Well, here's a better way to do it!...no, you shouldn't do it at all!

I agree that it shouldn't be done at all. I've seen too many near collisions.

Not taking anything away from other inventions, but given the 10 button keyboard applications and how everyone can relate themselves to its uses is the reason that its leading at the moment (and rightly so).

I don't get what's so great about the 10key, am I missing something? I liked #224 and #222 much better.

Ok, I did like it in the PS controller, but would I ever consider using it? No.

As a designer, I find it hard to sort out all tasks that need to be done in the manner that they actually ought to be done. It's alright to use organizers and set up all sorts of reminders bus sometimes, they simply don't work well enough. Having a device that remembers what you ought to do and actually makes sure you do it can only be counted as a great step forward.
