I recently ran across this item somewhere and thought I’d share it. A Dutch vodka company (who knew there was such a thing?) has put a new twist on putting a message in a bottle. Medea vodka comes in a bottle with an array of LEDs that can display a custom scrolling message. It will store up to 6 messages, of 255 characters each. It’s like a tweet that doesn’t go anywhere. There is a video on youtube about the vodka as well.
Medea has won awards for their vodka, so apparently it’s about the vodka, not just the bottle. I wonder where else this sort of labeling will show up?
