Platens
Bake and chill platens for wafer processing applications incorporate high-density, mineral-insulated heating elements cast onto 99.7%-pure aluminum. Cooling tubes produced from various materials can be run systematically with the heat pattern for uniform chill requirements. Temperature uniformity across the surface of the platens can achieve ±1% of the maximum operating temperature. Zero porosity of the castings allows for increased operating temperatures to 850F.

Silicone
A two-part silicone adhesive sealant can be applied robotically or manually to a range of metals, plastics, and synthetic surfaces. The product, which is mixed in a 1:1 ratio, cures depending on the amount of heat applied. Since its cure times are heat-dependent, the material can be deployed to match production line needs with times ranging from under 30 seconds to over 24 hours. Heat can be applied using circulating air ovens, conveyor-tunnel ovens, or portable heat guns for manual assembly in the field.

Air filter
The Flex-Frame air filter is for use in electronic equipment that cannot accept a rigid air-filter frame because of internal enclosure obstructions or the necessity to follow a curved track. These "bend-to-fit" filters use a flame-retardant, polypropylene frame rated UL 94V-0 and can be specified in thicknesses ranging from 0.03 to 0.12 inch. A solvent-resistant, two-part epoxy bonding material securely unites the frame and filter media for improved strength.

Magnifier
The Wide Field Magnifier, model ONS-0395, features 4x magnification power and an achromatic 1-inch diameter lens. The lens has been corrected for chromatic errors to provide a clear, distortion-free image that is in focus at the center and outer edges. A variable focusing mechanism utilizes an adjustable helicoids screw for precision focusing. The field of view for the magnifier is 1.77 x 1.77 inches.
