In-Line Torque Transducers are said by their manufacturer to use unique, non-contact differential measuring technology to avoid rotation of electronic components during operation. The top of the company's product line, these transducers are said to provide an accurate alternative for measuring torque and speed over a very broad range.
FP-3200 ferrous proximity sensors are custom designed with reed switch technology and dual-sensing capabilities. The manufacturer says that the product can be configured to handle large air gaps, and will respond to either pass-by or perpendicular straight-on presentation of the target body. It is also hermetically sealed and reportedly able to withstand harsh environments.

Centrifuge tubes
Conical Centrifuge Tubes from this company are said to perform well in high-speed centrifuge applications at a lower cost than other high-end tubes. The product is autoclavable, can be used in refrigerated centrifuges, and comes in 10 and 15 ml volumes in a choice of PEEK?, TPX, PFA®, Teflon®, or TEFZEL® (EFTE).

Machine vision
PCVisionplus® is a half-slot PCI bus frame grabber designed specifically for high-speed inspection applications. The product is reportedly able to digitize monochrome analog video at frequencies up of to 53 MHz, and also features 4 MB of on-board memory and hardware "scatter gather" which supports efficient, automated image transfers from image memory.
Marathon FRI? fiber optic ratio thermometers are said to raise the standards for non-contact, high-temperature, harsh environment sensors. Proprietary electronics support features such as programmable analog and relay outputs, remote parameter configuration, and serial data communications, while the FR-1 fiber optic cable can be replaced in the field without recalibration.

Sensor/valve
Type 8400 programmable temperature sensor/switches are said to provide users with a wide range of ON/OFF switch combinations and powerful control solutions. Heating and cooling circuits which use the product with the company's solenoid valves can control low pressure, cooling water, and hot fluid systems without the need for additional wiring and associated costs.
This company says it has introduced the first DIN rail mountable, optically isolated, electronic module designed specifically for use with incremental encoders. Part of a family of externally mounted electronic packages, the product uses isolation circuitry as an encoder interface to provide a reportedly robust output to the receiving electronics, which can be useful in systems with otherwise poor signal compatibility.

Pressure gauge
Model AI digital pressure gauges from this company are said to carry FM approval as intrinsically safe for Class I, II, and III, Division 1 and 2; and Group A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The product is available in ranges from 0-15 to 0-10,000 psi with gauge, absolute vacuum, or compound reference. Measurement units are field selectable between bar, millibar, pascal, inches of water or mercury, and millimeters of mercury.
Han® Thermocouple (Type J) modular inserts are designed to work with variants of the company's Han® module series to provide accurate temperature readings for thermocouple applications. The product is installed with contacts of iron and constantan, an alloy of nickel and copper, which makes the product highly resistant to oxidation. Inserts are available in crimp and screw terminations.

Light Matters: Systems Level Approach to HBLED illumination applications
Its good practice to apply a systems-level approach to high-brightness LED (HBLED) illumination applications. Minimally, the system includes the optical, thermal and electrical characteristics of the of the HBLED, the lens (if any) which is built-in to its package, secondary optics such as external plastic lenses/reflectors to direct the light as your application requires and power driver electronics.
