Air dryer

Balston®SMD membrane air dryer is said to provide pure, dry compressed air at a low cost when compared with refrigerant dryer technology. The product will dry air to dewpoints as low as a reported 35F at flow rates of up to 1,200 SCFM, and operates without moving parts.

Heat exchangers

DV 47 and 57 models from this company are said to be the first compact brazed heat exchangers to offer true dual-circuit flexibility. Users can choose to run either or both of the refrigerant circuits to get full heat transfer. Each refrigerant circuit is in contact with all water channels, providing full heat transfer efficiency even at partial loads with one channel shut off.

Wiper packing

OT wiper packing from this company uses naturally occurring oil stiction forces, which normally create problems in valve environments, to provide a true non-lube seal in the packing. The product is said to provide a positive, physical seal between the crankcase and the piston rod in automotive applications sealing the lubricating oil in the crankcase.

Burnout dryers

DAS Eliminator® filter dryers are said to extend compressor life by removing harmful acids and moisture which destroy the insulating varnish on motor windings. The product has a solid core of 70% activated alumina which neutralizes acids, and 30% molecular sieves which absorb moisture. The dryers are installed in the suction line and are removed after several hours to one week.

Pumps

Solenoid operated pumps, available in four different models, are designed to operate through several million cycles without the need for maintenance.
