Fujitsu Siemens Computers Pocket LOOX N100: Maps, Music and Mobility
Terry Costlow, Contributing Editor -- Design News, February 26, 2007
Weighing in at 4 oz, the Pocket LOOX N100 Series personal navigation assistant from Fujitsu Siemens Computers is light enough for bikes and walkers, as well as in vehicles. A 300 MHz Samsung processor monitors power usage, powering down unused peripherals quickly. When users know where they're going, it serves as an MP3 player. An optional Traffic Message Channel module tells drivers where traffic jams are.
The $299 unit utilizes Navignon MobileNavigator 6 software, which provides an intuitive interface and detailed maps.
