Premium-Efficient Electric Motor Line

Catalog caters to federal procurement
Emerson's new electric motor line catalog clearly identifies the nominal NEMA Premium efficiency of each of its motors, and each product nameplate has the NEMA Premium logo, announcing compliance with FEMP requirements. The company hopes to attract federal buyers, who now have to abide by strict rules to use premium efficiency products. The company has three lines of motors that fall within these guidelines, including industrial cast-iron motors for hostile environments, commercial service motors for office buildings schools and federal facilities, and HVAC motors for air moving and air conditioning systems.
