Two companies have realized the truth behind the strength-in-numbers theory. Phoenix Contact and OMNEX Control Systems have expanded their partnership to include an exclusive distribution agreement in which Phoenix Contact will be responsible for the global marketing and distribution of OMNEX's Trusted Wireless™ I/O and data radio products. Since being introduced in the United States in 2001, OMNEX wireless radio sales have increased dramatically, and this latest agreement should further enhance sales and availability, says the company. According to Jack Nehlog, president of Phoenix Contact Inc., "OMNEX developed a wireless radio that reliably transmits signals, and Phoenix Contact provided packaging and connectivity expertise . . . we've created a world-class combination."
