Control valves get popular
By Design News Staff -- Design News, May 5, 2003
Even in a down economy, ARC Advisory Group is predicting that the control valve market will reach close to $3.5 billion in just four years—up from $3 billion in 2002. Why the surge in sales? ARC attributes the growth to new opportunities in food and beverage, drugs and pharmaceuticals, and the specialty chemical market. Control valves offer performance gains and greater functionality, and are playing a role in predictive maintenance and remote diagnostics.
