BMW has opened its new Engine Test Building in Munich, putting all development of drivetrains into one modular building. There are 36 test stands, six of which are equipped for development of hydrogen-powered engines. Key enabler is a universal data management system linking the test areas for data transfer. An automated system controls the facility, monitors tests, and records data.
