Design Engineers will have their pick of products from CADSI(reg) (Computer Aided Design Software Inc.; Coralville, IA). The first, CATDADS 9.0 for design simulation embedded in CATIA(reg) from IBM, includes a CATIA Elfini interface for flexible mechanical body simulation, supported on Unix platforms. The second release is DADS version 9.0 available for Unix and Windows NT platforms. DAD 9.0 allows engineers to quickly assemble, analyze, and animate real-world behavior of dynamic mechanical systems on their desktop. Also available, DesignWorks 98, which offers motion, structure, and thermal analysis software embedded in SolidWorks 98. CADSI Product Code 4430
