LED lamps

Series L806T 20 mm Big Dome Discrete LEDs reportedly improve viewing and light dispersion, due to a larger-than-normal lens and a printed circuit board with six SMT LED diode chips arranged in a circle. Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the plastic LEDs are compatible with 12-pin dip sockets and are available in a Super Intensity version and Standard Intensity version. Applications include dot matric displays, moving signs, full-color screens, industrial control equipment, and utility monitoring boards.

Flexible sensors

The WORM Flexible Sensors for Thermowell Temperature Assemblies are designed to replace straight sensor probes used in connection heads, hockey-puck, and dual sided enclosures. Available in RTD and thermocouple configurations, they install by sliding through the entry port of the enclosure and snapping into place. No removal of connection head, enclosure, or assembly components is necessary.

Video server

The VIP video over TCP/IP system features the VIP-V T×C video and VIP-AV T×C video/audio transmitters, offering multicast capability and connecting the data network and any PAL/NTSC video source. It includes a high data compression rate and 352 × 288 resolution at 30 frames per second maximum frequency. VIP system is used for monitoring and remote maintenance, vision systems, process visualization, and access control and security applications.

Ultrasonic sensors

The SUPERPROX® Model SM602 series sensors are de-signed for dual-level control uses with limited space mounting. The 18-mm ultrasonic sensors operate on 12 to 24V dc at 500 kHz, and are available in threaded barrel-style housing in SS303 stainless steel or ULTEM® plastic. They have up to 305-mm sensing range to monitor nonhazardous liquid or dry material levels.

Crystal oscillator

The latest addition to the F4100 Series of crystal oscillators has a frequency of 156.25 MHz, which may be used in applications requiring increased speeds. With less need to multiply the frequency upward, the oscillators reportedly provide cleaner telecommunication signals, reduced hea generation, increased battery life, and improved EMI characteristics. Applications include Fibre Channel, SONET and ATM uses, and microprocessors and microcontrollers.

Transducers

The KPSI™ level transducers now include a temperature output option, used for level and pressure measurements and measured process temperature gauging. The transducers operate at a temperature range of 0 to 50C and -20 to 60C, with 4-20 mA output and a 9-30V dc supply voltage range. With the temperature output option, they are suited for tank and well level monitoring and control applications.

Sensor

The weld-thru sensor, combining the company's Model WEL weld-thru load cell and a Model WGM Weldmeter, reportedly controls force-triggered firing for spot and projection welds. Used with differential air or hydraulic pressure sensors, the technology works by triggering welding when a particular force is reached. The sensor also monitors weld current and coolant temperature.

Fiber optic panels

These fiber optic panels reportedly generate less heat, take up less space, last longer than typical LED arrays, and require less current and fewer LEDs for remote light sources. Designed for medical instrumentation, digital controllers, and test and measurement, the panels measure 0.33 mm thick and are resistant to vibration, shock, and temperature and humidity extremes. Panels consist of one to eight layers, increasing in brightness to 50 ft-L and more.
