Moisture Analyzers

By Design News Staff -- Design News, April 23, 2006

Stronger, with lower detection levels

MIDAC's newest analyzer series is designed to last longer under a vacuum, and offer lower detection levels, with low internal power dissipation, eletro-polished gas cells to eliminate sample moisture retention, sensitive thermo-electrically cooled InAs detector, and new dual ADC electronics for improved signal-to-noise. The V Series offers real-time measurement of trace moisture in corrosive matrices like NH3, HCI, HBr, and NF3, with typical measurement intervals of less than a minute. Operating under vacuum makes for no background atmospheric moisture, so set-up takes only a few hours. Purged V Series analyzers are also available.
