Defense-i sees all

LeeMichael McLean, Contributing Editor -- Design News, April 23, 2001

Industry specific portals are the best no-nonsense way to find stuff on the net. One of the newest and most interesting portals, Defense-i.com, collects information on the defense and aerospace industries. Daily news, e-mail updates, market analysis, product searches, and discussion forums are among the services offered.

The "media pack" page allows users to get a free community listing and submit press releases.

One of the most helpful features on the site is the Channel Browser tool. It allows users to select a specific area within defense or aerospace, such as Land, Air, Naval, Intelligence Surveillance, or Manufacturing to filter out all non-related information. And the tool doesn't just act as a search function, it actually affects the way every single page appears, making it easier to find the information that is important to you.

Visit www.defense-i.com to check it out, and make sure you sign up as a premium user to have access to all the restricted areas.
