W.L. Gore & Associates Inc. has launched a website
that allows step-by-step interactive configuration of its latest and
award-winning cables.
Available on www.gore.com/designacable are the High Flex Flat Cable and the Trackless Cable, which has won the 2004 Design News Best Product of the Year award (http://designnews.com/article/CA380730.html). The company promises five-day lead time for standard configurations, with no minimum order quantities required.
Intended for smaller package solution, the High Flex Flat Cable can be used in an energy chain or cable track. Its close cousin the Trackless Cable can support itself over a long enough span to allow it to move back and forth 60 inches without sagging or buckling.
Both products have been tested to achieve 10 million cycles on a 2-inch (50 mm) bend radius. To learn more, go to www.gore.com.
