A partnership between ICO Global Communications (Holdings) Ltd. and Delphi Corp. is good news for Americans who want to watch TV while they're out and about. Delphi is developing Digital Video Broadcast-Satellite to Handheld (DVB-SH) user terminals for ICO's mobile interactive media service. In April, ICO launched its geosynchronous satellite, one of the largest commercial satellites, with plans to broadcast satellite services to mobile stations made by Delphi and others. Alpha trials will take place this year in Raleigh-Durham, NC and Las Vegas, with shipments of Delphi's receivers set to begin in December.
