Parducci Wine Cellars Goes 100 Percent Green
Rob Spiegel, Contributing Editor -- Design News, June 2, 2008
Parducci Wine Cellars has converted to 100 percent solar and wind power to run its winery. The company transferred all of its energy needs to non-polluting, renewable sources by supplementing its on-site solar power with Green-E certified wind energy purchased from the Bonneville Environmental Foundation. Parducci says the conversion has done the equivalent of removing 172 cars from the road for a year or planting 242 acres of trees.
