Analog Control: Duncan Electronics

By Design News Staff -- Design News, September 23, 2007

Torque Sensor

Duncan Electronics' bi-directional, non-contacting torque sensor allows powertrain engineers to design an accurate torque sensor into their power conversion systems. Unlike similar existing sensors, which don't go beyond 6,000 rpm, BEITorq's goes to 17,000+ rpm and allows real-time torque monitoring with significant accuracy. Thus, it replaces high-cost laboratory-grade strain gage devices. Attributes include compact design for easy integration, long life, simplicity and accuracy in zero-speed to high-rpm applications.
