Due to the increase in off-shore product sourcing, the National Mail Order Association is promoting U.S.-made products by sponsoring a "Made in America" contest. The contest awards 73 manufacturers, artisans, and inventors in 19 categories—including automotive, consumer electronics, and hardware and tools, among others—and 50 "Best of State" awards. The competition is designed to help introduce American products to mail order marketing companies. Entries are due by December 31, 2003. For more information and an entry form, go to www.nmoa.org/contest.
