Animatics Corp.'s OEM Series of SmartMotors

Newest addition features maximum speed of 5,000 rpm

Animatics Corp.'s new SM3416DT-PLS2, the latest release in the company's OEM Series of SmartMotors, features a new 8-pole, segmented stator design with higher copper filling factor compared to conventional techniques and achieves a higher energy density, as well as better efficiency that results in more torque capacity.

This technology now packs greater than 800W peak power into the cube-shaped Integrated Servo and is designed to have a more advanced registration function for demanding packaging and labeling applications. The SM3416DT-PLS2TM is competitively priced and delivers as much as 480 oz-inch of peak torque while maintaining over 200 oz-inch of continuous torque with a maximum speed capability of more than 5,000 rpm.
