RFID solution from SAP makes stand-alones deployable
Wai Li -- Design News, March 7, 2005
An upgrade from the previous version, the 2.1 RFID solution from SAP is intended to be an easy upgrade for current users as well as painless adoption for new users.
According to Andres Botero, Director of Business Development, the 2.1 is particularly flexible since it allows the deployment of stand-alones. “It’s now possible [for users] to go from big to small,” Botero says.
Target users of the upgrade include the pharmaceutical, aerospace and defense, and automotive industries, as well as those that face a great amount of outbound traffic. For more information, visit www.sap.com/solutions/business-suite/scm/rfid/index.epx.
