New ASME code expected in July for boilers, pressure vessels

An extensively updated version of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel code is scheduled for release in July. Recognized around the globe, the code covers safety rules for design, manufacture, and inspection of boilers and pressure vessels. Systems for nuclear power are also included. The update incorporates recent advancements in design, materials, and applications. It details what is needed to maintain ASME code symbol stamps on products.
