TEST PRODUCTS

Two different systems

The Falcon Leak Test System simultaneously locates and calculates the leak rate, eliminating the need for costly additional leak tests, according to the company. It uses patent-pending Intelense technology, offers real-time process control, and is reportedly a cost-effective solution that bridges the gap between traditional pressure decay technology and helium vacuum mass spectrometry. The Sentinel M24 Leak Test Instrument is designed as a compact, affordable, and versatile leak test instrument that is available in multiple station configurations. HYDRAULIC PUMPS

New sizes

The company has introduced two new pump sizes to their line of PVM medium-duty axial piston hydraulic pumps. The PVM-065 offers a Theoretical Maximum Displacement of 3.96 inches3/rev, and the PVM-075 provides a displacement of 4.58 inches3/rev. They provide a maximum peak pressure of 4,250 psi. Control options include pressure compensation, adjustable load sense, fixed load sense, as well as electrohydraulic proportional pressure compensation. The Oilgear Co.http://rbi.ims.ca/4385-637

PRESSURE SWITCH

Miniature

Part of the company's Herion pressure switches, the mini version is reportedly fit for deployment in applications with space limitations. It is designed as an inexpensive solution for monitoring tasks and are the smallest devices within the industrial pressure switch market, according to the company. It features a plastic piston combined with an O-ring seal, and it offers AMP E electrical connection terminals. The product is suitable for neutral, lubricative, gaseous, and liquid fluids. PRODUCTS CD

Available for free

A CD available from the company features its Nylatrac Automation Line of cable and hose carriers. It reportedly highlights the company's carriers, features a Web link that is specifically designed for users of automation-style cables and hose carries, and has a PDF version of the company's design guide. Windows Media Player 9, an Internet connection, and Microsoft Windows are required. Nylatrachttp://rbi.ims.ca/4385-639

CONDENSATE PUMP

For long life cycles

Engineered for dependable steam system condensate recovery in rapid-cycling process environments and under all pressure and temperature conditions, the Pivotrol® Pressure Powered Condensate Pump is backed by a three-year or three million cycles warranty, with a lifetime spring warranty. The new mechanism reportedly replaces pins and linkages with pivots, which reduce friction and wear, lengthening service life. A specific damper uses the hydraulic inertia of the collected condensate to reduce mechanical shock as the valve actuators shift, according to the company. PRESSURE TRANSMITTER

With optional three-way valve

The Series 629 Wet/Wet Differential Pressure Transmitter features an optional three-way valve that is reportedly fit for monitoring differential pressures on HVAC equipment. The optional integral valve manifold is designed for simple installation by allowing the installer to isolate or combine the pressures on the high and low pressure ports. It reportedly is also an excellent maintenance tool that provides the capability to perform maintenance on the transmitter without interrupting the process, according to the company. FLOW SOLUTION

Accurate, convenient

The company's Complete Flow Solution is designed for the precise measurement of liquid, gas, and steam flows. It reportedly provides more accuracy, convenience, and flexibility than traditional orifice plates and vortex meters, at an overall lower cost. The product consists of an Accutube averaging pitot tube, a three valve manifold, and a multivariable transmitter. According to the company, it produces a mass flow rate that is fully compensated for static pressure and temperature, eliminating the need for DSC calculation. IN-LINE FILTERS

High flow

Designed for chemical solutions, ink, water, oil, gasoline, fuel, and alcohol, the company's series of large in-line filters for air, vacuum, or liquids are molded in polyoxymethylene acetal. They feature filter frames that are color-coded to indicate filter micron size. Filters are available in 20, 65, 105, 150, and 250 microns. Filters are offered with 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8 barbs, 10-32, 1/4-28, and 1/8 female threads, and 1/16 and 1/8 male threads. Desired ends can be mixed and matched, according to the company. TURBINE FUEL CONTROL VALVE

Proportional

The company's proportional turbine fuel control valve is engineered as a single-state, direct-acting, electromagnetic, pressure-regulated valve. It reportedly provides maximum fuel flows up to 700 PPH at supply pressures up to 1,500 psig with power consumption of 5 to 8W. The regulator maintains a constant differential pressure across the valve's metering orifice, resulting in consistent flow without influence from changes in supply and backpressure. CLOSE-COUPLED PUMP

With ANSI flat face flanges

The company's 1500 pump is designed for municipal and industrial applications where close-coupled configurations are deemed acceptable, but the robustness of a gear joint drive is needed. It features a sealed gear-type universal joint drive train and optimized rotor/stator pumping element geometry. Other features include flow rates to 1,000 gpm, ANSI flat face flanges on suction and discharge ends, and DIN Standard 24960 and ISO 3069 single mechanical seals. It is intended for a variety of applications, including positive displacement sludge transfer, scum and grease pumping, and dewatering equipment feeding, among others.
