Shrinking product development cycles and increasing circuit complexity are requiring engineers to rethink how they design their electronic circuits. To meet these challenges, design engineers have turned to using measurements and simulations throughout the design process. By combining these, design engineers not only save time and money through fewer prototypes but also improve quality because they can integrate real-life measurements into the simulation process. about the presenters Matthew Friedman
Before becoming product manager for instrument drivers and SignalExpress interactive measurement software at National Instruments, Matthew Friedman was an applications engineer specializing in test and measurement hardware and software. He received a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Shauna Rae
Shauna Rae received her Bachelor and Master of Science from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta. As a product manager, she draws on her experience in human computer interfaces and hardware design to ensure Electronics Workbench design and simulation tools improve the design process.
