Electronic Stethoscope Reference Design

AMI's reference design enables engineers to shave months off the development of electronic stethoscopes. The product, which allows for amplification and playback of heart and lung sounds for physicians, is built atop a programmable Digital Signal Processor (DSP) platform. The platform reportedly enables electronic stethoscopes to be designed with less components, reducing the overall bill of materials. The product also enables sophisticated audio real-time processing algorithms to be implemented on a low-resource, low-power platform. http://rbi.ims.ca/4917-581
