CAP-XX Supercapacitor
By adding CAP-XX’s new HS206 supercapacitor peak-power support to an industrial or consumer device, designers can size batteries and power circuitry for average power, protect against lost data during drops and hot battery swaps and enable so-called “last gasp transmissions.” By employing the HS206 in BriteSound Power Architecture for Music Phones, engineers can drive peak power functions, such as audio and LED Flash and leave enough battery power to handle data transfers and network polls without compromising audio power.
